How GATE score is calculated

The GATE score is calculated out of 1000 using the formula: Score = 350 + (900 − 350) × (Your marks − Qualifying marks) / (Top 0.1% mean − Qualifying marks). Qualifying marks (Mq) are typically 25 for general category. The exam body publishes exact Mq and Mt per paper after the exam.

For multi-session papers, use your normalized marks as the raw input. This tool lets you plug in your marks and optional constants to estimate your GATE score for planning.
